Loy Kratong on the Beach of Pattaya 2006
(November 3-5, 2006, at Pattaya Beach, Pattaya)
Loy Kratong "Festival of Lights" in Pattaya City hold on the full moon. This year is on Sunday Night 5 November and this festival start from November 3 to end of November 5 night. Loy Kratong on Pattaya is an exciting, because A little floats (kratong) are made from banana trunks, flowers and candles and set afloat on the sea ( differrence from other province are afloat on revier). This symbolizes the casting away of troubles and a call for a happy future. As the moon rises in the evening people converge around bodies of water throughout the country to release their kratongs.
